I must have got to that time in life because it feels like not a week goes by without one of my friends or family members announcing that there will soon be a new addition to their family. So to celebrate with them I have produced a new line of baby cards - Bundle of Joy.It is a work in progress and I hope to add a few more styles in the week to come before I head off to Harrogate for a couple of days off with my fiance and then to my friends wedding.  After which I hope to be all refreshed ready to restock and prepare for my next fair at St Albans Town Hall on Saturday 12th July. 

I hope that you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend. Thank you to all of you that came to see me and the other stallholders at Lutterworth Craft Fair yesterday at the Town Hall especially as it was such a cold day. I will be back in Lutterworth next weekend but this time at the Wycliffe Rooms on George Street (see craft fairs and events for full details). Just a reminder that what you see on the website is just a small selection of my full collection which I take to the craft fairs so if you like what you see on the website it is well worth a visit to one of my craft fairs. There is free parking at Wycliffe Rooms and it is closely situated to 3 major supermarkets so very handy if you need to get a few bits from the shops at the same time. There will also be a wide variety of other stallholders including handmade soaps, handmade gifts, handmade jewellery, antiques and psychics. There is also a refreshment stall so you can have a sit down with a drink, cake or bacon butty. 

There have been a few changes to the website over the last few weeks and I have added a lot of new designs. I bought a new die cutting machine earlier on in the year and have been busy experimenting with some new dies and embossing plates and I am loving the new designs. To make it easier for you to view the new designs I now have a new gallery dedicated to my new designs at the top of the home page.

After a bit of a break from card making, well 5 days, I sat down at my desk this evening full of new inspiration. It was a slow start as I spent more time looking out the window distracted by the ever falling snow. Soon I was unable to tell where the pavement stopped and where the road started. I thought better of going to my outdoor bootcamp exercise class for fear of not being able to get back up the hill to my house if the snow continued to fall. Instead I put all my energy into making cards, it was quite a work out 9 new designs tonight - it should snow more often!!

As most of you are still recovering from the festivities of Christmas and New Year I have to be thinking about the next event in the calendar. Luckily January and February are quiet for birthdays which means I can concentrate on valentines cards and then it will be Mother's Day. I have already uploaded some of my valentines cards to the website but over the next couple of weeks I will be adding more so keep looking out for that perfect valentines card. If you have a specific idea or theme you would like then please e-mail me and I'll see what I can do.

Also to let you know I have a new event this year. I will be having a stall at Lutterworth Farmers market every other month (see craft fairs and events for details). The farmers market is held in the car park of the town hall and the craft fair inside the town hall itself. It would be lovely to see you there if you can make it. The first event is Saturday 12th January from 10am-4pm.

When someone said it was only 12 weeks until christmas I started to panic. After finishing a big order of cards I thought I can now concentrate on my christmas cards. It was great retrieving last years christmas embellishments out from the depths of my spare room and I must have spent the first 2 hours today sorting through all the bits and bobs before I finally sat myself down to make some cards. With the help of a magazine I put my first card together and then the ideas started flowing and within a few hours I had made 14 cards, not nearly enough but a good start. I hope to expand the collection over the next few weeks and get my christmas card section live on the website. I will be taking some christmas cards to the fair in St Albans this weekend for all those people that are much more organised than me. I will post again when the christmas card collection goes live. It's been a long but productive day!!

Unfortunately there will be no delivery on Thursday 22nd March. To avoid disappointment please place your order before 8pm on Tuesday 20th March. Orders made after this time will not be posted until Friday 23rd March.
